Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Budget (Updated till FY 2021-22)
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation budget provides function-wise details of different types of receipts, both revenue and capital. It also provides details of expenditure, revenue and capital, incurred for street lighting, City Infrastructure Maintenance, Urban Community Development, health and sanitation, road infrastructure, Smart Hyderabad (Smart City), etc.
About the Budget
- Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) budget is presented function wise, account code wise.
- The Major account codes were taken from the 2013-14 budget document of the GHMC. In the 2016-17 budget documents there are few changes in the account codes.
- Budget documents, starting from the FY 2014-15, present the detailed account codes.
- Some discrepancies have been found when the aggregate figures (reported in the Budget Documents) and the sum total of the individual items are compared, especially from the 2017-18 actuals figures. Since the 2019-20 budgets, data figures are provided in Rs Crores, instead of providing the budget figures in Rs. Lakhs, which was the practice in the previous budgets. When there are some approximations in the numbers up to 2 decimal (in Crores) and again if the data (taken from the pdf documents) is converted to lakhs from crore, this kind of totalling error may arise. But the error is miniscule and could be ignored. Details are mentioned in the datasheets.
