About the Budget

  1. The Nagpur Municipal Corporation budget follows a different style of coding. There are various function groups and their subgroups which do not carry any specific codes. These function groups are treated as Major heads in this document. The Minor and Detailed heads are coded and their codes are mentioned in the document.
  2. Each section has a specific code which has been mentioned in the Title of each sheet (such as revenue receipts - A1, revenue expenditure -A2).
  3. The original budget documents use the term 'income', we have used the term 'receipts', except in the case of deposits, for the sake of uniformity.
  4. The original budget documents have different sections for income from and expenditure on deposits and advances, hence these have been presented in different sheets.
  5. This document shows budget heads in accordance with the budget document of 2015-16 and hence may not contain certain additional heads from the year 2016- 17.
