About the Budget

1. In the budget document, detailed estimates are presented function wise. The same presentation has been followed in the datasets.
2. The amounts are in Rs. Lakhs. For the year 2013-14, the figures in the budget are in Rupees. The data set presents the figures in Rs. Lakhs.
3. There is a totalling mistake in the budget document for revised estimate 2014-15 under Revenue expenditure- Civic Amenities - Municipal Markets major group. In the budget document, the total is Rs. 53.80 lakhs instead of Rs. 89.80 lakhs- difference of Rs. 36.00 lakhs. The details are in the reconciliation sheet.
4. The budget document uses the terminology of Receipts and Payments whereas the data set has used the terms 'Receipts' and 'Expenditure'.
