About the Budget
- The budget is arranged account code wise.
- The 2014-15 budget gives the BE figures for 2013-14, the actuals upto Feb 2014, the estimated receipts and expenditure for the month of March, the Revised Estimates for 2013-14 and the 2014-15 (BE) figures.
- The 2015-16 budget gives the BE figures for 2014-15, the actuals upto Dec 2014, the estimated receipts and expenditure for the quarter ending March 2015, the revised estimates for 2014-15, and the 2015-16 (BE) figures.
- The 2015-16 budget numbers are unrealistic as compared to the previous year's achievements.
- For certain items in the budget, only a lump sum figure is given. Where the details are not given, the number has been entered without an account code. Eg. Repairs and maintenance of infrastructure assets in Revenue expenditure. There are several such cases in Revenue Expenditure.
