Swachh Bharat Abhiyan - Urban (SBM-U): 2015-16 to 2020-21

Swachh Bharat Mission - Urban (SBM-U) was launched in October 2014. The scheme aims at making urban India free of open defecation and also seeks to achieve 100 per cent scientific management of municipal solid waste. SBM-U is implemented by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India.
